About the Artist

Ellie (she/her) is a 24 year old freelance artist based in the greater DC area. Ellie has always been a creative person, in 2022 she began art freelancing after taking a mental health leave of absence from college. (tldr below) Ellie has been creating content for social media as early as 2019 and going viral with more than 1 million views in August and 900k in September of 2022, on Tiktok (@elmosisntmyname, no longer active) which led to a passion for video editing and creating long and short form video content. Which developed into photography in Highschool which led to AP Photography, and having to do photoshoots with friends. Loving sharing stuff, Ellie started posting on Pinterest during 2020. Soon she graduated in May of 2020, but by then Tiktok and Pinterest were her hyperfixation. She got back into painting and fixing up old birdhouses and repainting old garden gnomes. The re-ignition of Ellies creative spark which had faded over the first 4 month of Senior year, was relit in 2020 with having nothing to do but make art. Ellie created and currently runs the cat account for her small liberal arts college in Southern Maryland. Once Ellie began smaller art like junk journals, she got her artistic flow back and was abele to get into bigger art and even was able to paint on a huge door. She began small Commissions and fell in love with custom art again! In 2025, she started video editing again and decided to post on youtube, which made her fall back in love with design, editing, and content creation.
TLDR
She works with all different types of media including acrylic paint/ paint pens, oil paint, watercolor art, film photography, junk journaling, 3d art, digital art/digital collages, video editing, merch creation, and clay creations.
